Rev. Wayne A. & Dolly M. Boyd  better known as Mom and Dad Boyd.  This picture was taken on their 50th Wedding Anniversary.  Mom and dad were married for 50 years on January 19, 2007.  But because it's so cold and due to bad weather, we decided to celebrate their anniversary in May, when people could travel alot better and it wouldn't be so cold.   We had a huge celebration for them on May 26, 2007.  It was such a wonderful time.  Our mother has worked for the Fort Peck Head Start Program for 40 years.  That is a long time to be in the same job, I've got to hand it to her to be that diligent at a job.  And daddy, bless his heart, we will see him very soon!

debiandfamily.jpg

Debi and boys.  These are my boys, two are my own and the other is my nephew (my brother Joe's boy).  James is my oldest (with the glasses) he is 15. Chance is next to him and he is 12. Then last but not least is my baby, his name is Canaan and he is 4 years old.  He keeps his momma going, but then when you have all boys, they keep you hopping. I sing alto for the Boyd Indian Family and I am currently a housewife attending Fort Peck Community College, working on my Computer Tech degree.  I am married to Faron J. Hapa and we make our home in Poplar, MT

Rev. Wayne Boyd, Jr. and wife Mia.  Jr. graduated from American Indian Bible College in Phoenix, AZ with his Bachelors degree as well as his wife Mia.   He is Ordained with the Assembly of God Fellowship, Billings, MT.  Both Jr and his wife Mia are involved with Rushing Wind Ministries, which is a family based ministry. With the hectic schedule these two individuals have, they keep pretty busy doing God's work.  I am thankful for my older brother and his wife, the Lord is truly using them in a mighty way. They currently live in Pryor, MT where they are the Pastors for Mountain Crow Worship Center.

Rev. Valerie G. Boyd - Yes, she is a Reverend.  She is the lead singer for the Boyd Indian Family and plays the piano.  Valerie has been a very busy lady.  She has lived in Phoenix, Az for 10 years and just recently moved back to Poplar, MT.  While living in Phoenix she pastored the First Nations Church for 6 years, and attended Arizona State College where she received her Bachelors Degree in Elementary Ed.  She is currently working on her Masters Degree in Educational Leadership and will graduate in May of 2009.  Valerie is a Licensed Minister with the Assemblies of God Fellowship.  She has taught for 10 years and currently teaches third grade at Poplar Elementary School, Poplar, MT where she resides.  Oh, by the way she is single.

machellejodie.jpg

Jodie and Machelle - My two beautiful sisters, who many think are twins, and are not.  Jodie sings 1st soporano and Mich sings 2nd alto for the Boyd Indian Family.  They both have been teaching for the Fort Peck Tribes Head Start Program and working on their teaching degree.  Jodie & Mich graduated from Rocky Mountain College with their Bachelors degree in Education.  What a proud moment for me as I watched my two sisters graduate.  Not only was I proud but mom and dad watched with pride.  They both currently reside in Poplar, MT. and yep, they also are single.

samsonanniejoey.jpg

Samson, Annie and Joey Boyd.  Samson and his family live in Nashville, TN.  He has been living there for 10 years.  When he moved to Nashville he was attending Belmount University School of Music. Annie is originally from Fort Belknap, she moved all the way to Nashville to meet and marry Samson.  We have know Annie's family for many years and consider them our good friends.  Samson and Annie were married on April 2004 in Havre, MT.  What a beautiful wedding, even though we had lost our brother Joe just a few months before, Samson wanted the wedding to go as planned.  Samson and his wife both work for the Bureau of Indian Affairs in Nashville, TN. He not only works for the BIA, but also plays drums on the weekend for a local band and referee's for some of the local high schools.

waynetteandfamily.jpg

Waynette and her family. She has two boys and two girls.  Habakkuk (15), Donald (13) (we call him Jay), Hannah (12) and Gabriella (8).  Waynette's daughter Hannah is very much involved in Beauty Pageants.  She has done very well for herself, and is currently Montana's Little Miss Pre-Teen.   Hannah has made us very proud, and during one of her interviews with the Judges, she told them she wanted to be the first Native American to be Miss America.  What a goal to acheive.  Waynette is married to Donald Weinberger III and they make their home in Poplar, MT. She is a wonderful house wife and mother and takes very good care of her family.
