Welcome to the web site of The Boyd Indian Family.  We are so excited about our web site and we are glad to share with you about this family based ministry. My name is Debi Boyd and without giving away my age, I am the eldest child.  I have wanted to build a web site about my family and our ministry for many years, and now thank the Lord, I am able to do so.  This ministry began about 40 years ago, shortly after mom and dad accepted Christ as their personal Savior.  In the beginning the group consisted of me (Debi), dad, my sister Valerie and my brother JR., Dad and I on guitar and my brother JR played bass.  Valerie did most of the lead singing; I harmonized with her and JR sang bass.  The four of us traveled all over, mostly during the summer and on weekends. Then as the family grew so did the ministry.

Here is some information about my family,  my parents are Wayne and Dolly Boyd. I have 3 brothers and 5 sisters (which makes for a total of 11 family members).  The names of my siblings (in order of birth) are: Wayne Jr., Valerie, Jodie, Machelle, Samson, Waynette, Joseph and Sharon.  I also have 9 nephews and 3 nieces.  Their names are (again in order of birth) Chenneniah Titus, Habakkuk Jude, James David, Maschil Zion, Donald Russell, Chance Joseph, Hannah-marie, Gabriella Mae, Joseph Wayne, Madison Emily, Canaan Uriah and Samson Joseph Paul.

Here is where the Boyd Indian Family began, with Mom and Dad.  They were married on January 19, 1957 in Plentywood, MT.  Don't they look just cute!  What a beautiful couple.  If it wasn't for these two individuals the Boyd Indian Family Ministry never would have existed.  Dad came from a musical background, with his sister having her own radio program back in Snohomish, WA when they were younger.
